Mussoorie 2-Day Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kempty Falls
    30 minutes (15.4 km) from Mussoorie city center

    Start your day early and head towards Kempty Falls, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mussoorie. Located on the outskirts of the city, the falls offer a picturesque view of the valley. You can take a dip in the cool water or relax by the banks. In the afternoon, you can head towards the Gun Hill, a 20 minutes drive (7 km) from the falls. The view from the top is breathtaking, and you can also indulge in some street food. In the evening, you can stroll around the Mall Road and enjoy the scenic beauty of the hills while shopping for souvenirs.

  2. Day 2: Camel's Back Road
    15 minutes (5.3 km) from Mussoorie city center

    Start your day with a walk along the Camel's Back Road, which takes its name from its unique shape and offers a beautiful view of the mountains. You can also try horse riding or get a portrait made by local artists. In the afternoon, you can head towards the Lal Tibba, the highest peak in Mussoorie, offering a panoramic view of the mountains. The peak is located 30 minutes away (6.5 km) from Camel's Back Road. You can also visit the nearby K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum and learn about the history of the region. In the evening, you can head towards the Mussoorie Lake, located just a 15 minutes drive (5 km) from Lal Tibba. Spend some time by the lake, enjoy a boat ride or indulge in some street food.

If you have some extra time, you can consider visiting the Bhatta Falls, located just a 30 minutes drive (11 km) from Mussoorie city center. You can also plan a visit to the Jwala Devi Temple, situated on top of a hill and offering a mesmerizing view of the valley. Another popular attraction is the Cloud's End, the place where Mussoorie comes to an end and offers a serene environment. If you are looking for a side trip, you can visit the Dhanaulti, located just a 1-hour drive (30 km) from the city center and offering a peaceful atmosphere. To maximize your fun, you can book a paragliding session or try trekking in the nearby hills. Lastly, do not forget to try the local dishes, such as Aloo ke Gutke, Bal Mithai and Kachmbari Salad.
