Pune in June 2023 Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Shaniwar Wada Fort

  2. Day 2: Aga Khan Palace and Bund Garden

Take time to appreciate the palace's Italian arches and lush greenery. Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Shinde Chhatri, a memorial to the Maratha leader Mahadji Shinde, or the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, home to over 160 species of animals. For a side trip, head to Lonavala, a popular hill station located just a few hours from Pune, or the historic city of Aurangabad, home to the famous Ajanta and Ellora caves. To maximize your fun, try some of the local food specialties like vada pav, misal pav, and bhakarwadi, or take a food tour of the city.
