Vijayawada to Munnar Nature Itinerary in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Nagarjuna Sagar Dam
    3 hours 20 minutes (165 km) from Vijayawada

    In the morning, head to Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, one of the world's largest masonry dams. Take a boat ride to the nearby Ethipothala waterfalls and explore the surrounding lush forests.   2. Day 2: Srisailam Tiger Reserve

In the afternoon, visit the Eravikulam National Park, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Take a scenic trek to the top of Anamudi, the highest peak in South India. In the evening, take a stroll around the Munnar town and enjoy the local cuisine. Spend the night in Munnar before heading back to Vijayawada.
