7-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary for Kedarnath in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

    Embark on a trek to Vasuki Tal, a beautiful high altitude lake. The trek offers stunning views of the Himalayas, and you can spend some time fishing or simply enjoying the surroundings. Carry appropriate gear as the weather is unpredictable in September.

  3. Day 3: Gandhi Sarovar and Kedartal Trek

    Drive to Chopta, known as the 'Mini Switzerland of India' and start your trek to the Tungnath Temple. Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. The trek is relatively easy, and you can return to Chopta for the night.

  6. Day 6: Deoria Tal Trek
    2 hours (62.6 km) from Chopta

    Embark on a trek to Deoria Tal, a pristine lake at an altitude of 2,438 metres. The trek is easy and takes around 2-3 hours. The lake offers stunning reflections of the Chaukhamba mountain range. Spend the night camping near the lake.

  7. Day 7: Return to Kedarnath Base Camp
    6 hours (210 km) from Deoria Tal

    Return to Kedarnath Base Camp, marking the end of your journey. You can spend the day exploring nearby attractions or relax before you head back home.
