6-Day Shimla and Manali Family Friendly Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Shimla
    Shimla Airport to Hotel (20 km, 1 hour)

    In the morning, check-in to the hotel and take some rest. In the afternoon, visit Christ Church, the second oldest church in North India, and Ridge Road, offering panoramic views of the valley. In the evening, stroll around Mall Road and indulge in some shopping and local snacks.

  2. Day 2: Kufri
    Shimla to Kufri (19 km, 1 hour)

    Start your day by visiting the Himalayan Nature Park, home to a variety of animals including the endangered snow leopard. Then, head to Kufri Fun World, an amusement park offering great activities for kids and adults. In the evening, visit the Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

  3. Day 3: Manali
    Shimla to Manali (250 km, 7 hours)

    After breakfast, head to Manali, a picturesque hill station famous for its scenic beauty and adventure sports. On the way, visit Kullu Valley and enjoy river rafting. In the evening, visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, a beautiful wooden temple surrounded by cedar forests.

  6. Day 6: Departure
    Manali to Bhuntar Airport (50 km, 1.5 hours)

    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and head to Bhuntar Airport for your return journey.
