2-Day Adventure Itinerary for Rishikesh in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Rafting on the Ganges River

    Start your day with an adventurous white water rafting experience on the Ganges River. The morning freshness and cool breeze of the Ganges will make you feel alive. The rafting expedition covers a distance of 16 km and takes around three hours. The mesmerizing view of the cascading waterfalls, lush green forests and the surrounding mountains will leave you spellbound. After lunch, explore the Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge over the river Ganges. Visit the Beatles Ashram, which is famous for its wall graffiti and offers the best sunset view in the city. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, where the priests perform rituals with lamps and flowers to worship the river Ganges.

  2. Day 2: Bungee Jumping and Flying Fox
    50 minutes (21 km) from Rishikesh bus stand

    Get your adrenaline pumping with bungee jumping and flying fox adventure at Jumpin Heights. The bungee jumping platform is 83 meters high, and the jump will give you a freefall experience of around four seconds. The flying fox activity covers a distance of around 1 km and will make you feel like a bird as you fly over the lush green forests and the river. After lunch, visit the Neer Garh waterfall, which is surrounded by dense forests and is a perfect spot for nature lovers. In the evening, visit the Triveni Ghat, which is the confluence of three sacred rivers- Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Witness the Ganga Aarti, which is a spectacular sight to behold.
