Start your day with a drive to Pagoda Point, a vantage point that offers a panoramic view of the Salem city. Witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the hills. In the afternoon, head towards the Kiliyur Falls. A trek through the forest is the only way to reach the falls. The falls will be at its best in June, so don't miss out on the magical view. In the evening, visit the Shevaroy Temple, located on the top of the Shevaroy Hills. The temple is a perfect place for meditation and offers a serene atmosphere.

In the afternoon, head towards Lady's Seat, another vantage point that offers a spectacular view of the town and the valley. Spend some time at the viewpoint, watch the sunset and feel the cool breeze. In the evening, visit the Silk Farm and see how silk is made from cocoon to fabric. Recommendations

If you have some extra time, then visit the Bear's Cave, located on the way to Kiliyur Falls. It's a small cave that was once inhabited by bears. You can also take a walk through the Botanical Garden, which has a variety of rare plants and trees. To maximize your fun, try the local delicacies and street food. The town is also known for its coffee plantations, so don't forget to grab a packet or two of freshly roasted coffee. Another suggestion is to go on a night safari in the forest and witness the nocturnal animals.
