Recommendations

If you have an extra day, visit the Nagarhole National Park, home to tigers, elephants, and other wildlife. The best time to visit is early in the morning or late in the evening. You can also take a day trip to the nearby town of Virajpet and explore the local markets and coffee plantations. To maximize your fun, try some of the local cuisine, such as pork curry or bamboo shoot curry, and indulge in some Coorgi wine. Don't forget to buy some locally grown coffee and spices as souvenirs. Lastly, make sure to carry rain gear as June is the monsoon season in Coorg.
