One-Day Foodie Itinerary in Hyderabad (July 2023)

  1. 9:00AM: Ram Ki Bandi
    15 minutes (2.5 km) from Jubilee Hills

    Start your day with a delicious breakfast at Ram Ki Bandi, a food truck famous for its dosas, idlis, and vadas. People from all over the city come here to enjoy their hot and crispy dosas with a variety of chutneys. Make sure to try their signature cheese dosa!

    Visit the Salar Jung Museum, one of the largest one-man collections of antiques in the world. Make sure to take a guided tour to learn more about the artefacts and their history.

    For lunch, head to Paradise Biriyani, a legendary restaurant famous for its mouth-watering biryanis. The restaurant serves a variety of biryanis, including chicken, mutton, and veg biryanis, along with kebabs, curries, and desserts. Make sure to try their signature Double-ka-Meetha, a dessert made with bread, cream, and dry fruits.

    15 minutes (4.5 km) from Paradise Biriyani

    Visit the iconic Charminar, a 16th-century monument and mosque located in the heart of the old city. If you have time, consider visiting the Golconda Fort, a historic fort located 11 km from the city, or the Qutb Shahi Tombs, a group of tombs located 14 km from the city. You can also take a food tour of the city to try a variety of local delicacies. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water with you, as the weather can be hot and humid in July.
