While Madrid is a walkable city, using public transportation is also recommended. You can buy a single ticket for €1.50, a 10-trip ticket for €12.20, or a 3-day tourist ticket for €18.40. Taxis are also widely available although can be expensive.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the Reina Sofia Museum, or the Mercado de San Miguel. If you have less time, remove La Latina from the itinerary or shorten your stay in other places. Also, be sure to try some traditional dishes like Cocido or Callos during your stay in Madrid.
