7-Day Saputara Itinerary in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Gira Falls
    30 minutes (6.9 miles) from Saputara Lake

    Start your trip by visiting the majestic Gira Falls. You can take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy the scenic beauty of the falls. Have lunch at the nearby food stalls and continue your day with a visit to the Hatgad Fort in the afternoon.

  2. Day 2: Hatgad Fort

    Visit the historical Hatgad Fort in the morning and take a walk around the fort to explore the ancient architecture. After lunch, head to the Sunset Point for picturesque views of the valley at sunset.

  3. Day 3: Artist Village

    Spend the morning exploring the traditional Warli paintings at the Artist Village. You can learn about the art form and even try your hand at painting. In the evening, head to the Saputara Museum to learn more about the local culture and traditions.

  4. Day 4: Saputara Lake

    Spend the morning boating in the serene Saputara Lake. You can also visit the Lake Garden nearby for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Step Garden and enjoy the beautiful flower beds and waterfalls.

  5. Day 5: Sunrise Point

    Wake up early and head to the Sunrise Point to catch the beautiful sunrise in the valley. After breakfast, visit the Nageshwar Mahadev Temple and pay your respects. In the evening, head to the Saputara Tribal Museum to learn about the various tribes in the region.

  6. Day 6: Purna Wildlife Sanctuary

    Take a day trip to the Purna Wildlife Sanctuary and explore the diverse flora and fauna of the region. You can take a guided safari tour and spot various animals like tigers, leopards, and sloth bears. Return to Saputara for a relaxing evening at the hotel.

  7. Day 7: Table Top Point
    20 minutes (4.5 miles) from Saputara Lake

    Spend your last day at Saputara visiting the famous Table Top Point. You can enjoy the panoramic view of the valley and even take a camel ride. After lunch, head to the Echo Point to shout out your name and hear it echo back. End your trip with a visit to the Rose Garden and take some beautiful pictures with the colourful flowers.
