5-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Vishakapatnam in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kailasagiri Hill
    20 minutes (6.3 miles) from Vishakapatnam Airport

    In the morning, take the cable car up to the hill to enjoy panoramic views of the city. Spend the afternoon at the park with your family and enjoy the various recreational activities such as toy train, rope-way, and horse riding.   2. Day 2: Indira Gandhi Zoological Park
    40 minutes (11.7 miles) from Kailasagiri Hill

    Get up early and visit this zoo, which is spread over 625 acres. Spend a fun morning here observing the different animals, birds and reptiles in their habitats. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Bheemili Beach to relax and have lunch at the beachside shacks. Return before sunset to avoid high tide. In the evening, visit the INS Kursura Submarine Museum and learn about the naval history of the region.

  3. Day 3: Araku Valley
    3 hours 30 minutes (78.8 miles) from Indira Gandhi Zoological Park
