Recommendations

If you have some extra time, consider visiting the Kuruva Islands, a beautiful group of islands on the Kabini River. For adventure enthusiasts, a visit to the Thirunelli Temple and the Pakshipathalam Bird Sanctuary is highly recommended. You can also go on a spice plantation tour or try your hand at bamboo rafting. For a side trip, consider visiting the nearby hill station of Coorg. And don't forget to sample the local cuisine - try the bamboo rice, Wayanad biryani, and the famous Kerala parotta. Have fun!
