One has to reach Sonprayag from Haridwar by a bus or taxi which takes around 7-8 hours. From Sonprayag, one has to trek to Kedarnath. For the excursion to Kedarnath Glacier, hiring a pony is recommended. Transportation for the adventure sports at Chopta can be arranged beforehand with the adventure sports institute.
