Two-Day Itinerary for Yercaud in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Pagoda Point
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Yercaud Bus Stand

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the beautiful Pagoda Point, an excellent viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the Salem city. You can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at the nearby stalls while enjoying the view.
    Afternoon: Head to the Bear's Cave, a prehistoric site that is believed to have been inhabited by bears in ancient times. The cave has beautiful formations and carvings that are worth exploring.
    Evening: End your day by visiting the Rose Garden, where you can witness the beauty of different varieties of roses, enjoy the fragrance and capture some amazing pictures.

  2. Day 2: Kiliyur Falls
    30 minutes (8.5 km) from Pagoda Point

    Morning: Start your day early and head to the Kiliyur Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Yercaud. You can take a dip in the natural pool or take a short trek to the bottom of the falls.
    Afternoon: Visit the Emerald Lake, situated amidst lush greenery with serene surroundings. You can hire a boat and enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake.
    Evening: End your trip with a visit to the famous Shevaroy Temple, which offers a peaceful ambiance and breathtaking views of the hills surrounding it.
