Two-Day Udupi Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: St Mary's Island
    30 minutes (9.7 km) from Udupi

    In the morning, head to St Mary's Island, a serene and beautiful island formed by volcanic rocks. Take a boat ride from Malpe Beach to reach the island. You can spend your morning enjoying the island's serene and picturesque beaches. In the afternoon, visit the Malpe Beach. It is a bustling beach with various water sports activities. You can also try some of the delicious seafood served on the beach. In the evening, visit the Udupi Sri Krishna Temple. It is a famous temple where you can witness the traditional practice of worship and seek blessings.

  2. Day 2: Kaup Beach and Kapu Lighthouse
    30 minutes (14 km) from Udupi

    In the morning, head to Kaup Beach, which is also known as "Pavithra Beach." It is a quieter beach with picturesque sceneries. Enjoy the sunrise and take a stroll on the beautiful sandy shore. In the afternoon, visit Kapu Lighthouse, which is nearby Kaup beach. Climb up to the top of the lighthouse to witness a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, visit the Anegudde Vinayaka Temple, which is located 25 minutes (12 km) from Kapu Lighthouse. Anegudde Vinayaka Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
