The best way to get around Yerevan is by taxi or public transportation. The metro system is fast, reliable and cheap. If you plan to visit places outside of Yerevan, hiring a private car and driver would be the best option. Taxi fares are relatively cheap in Yerevan, and Uber is also available from the airport. It takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 2000 AMD to get from the airport to the city center of Yerevan.
