2-Day Adventure Itinerary for Yercaud in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Pagoda Point
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Yercaud Lake

    Afternoon: Head to Kiliyur Falls, a 30-minute drive from Pagoda Point. The cascading waterfall is a refreshing sight and is surrounded by dense forests. You can trek down to the bottom of the falls and take a dip in the cool waters.

    Evening: Visit the Shevaroy Temple, a 20-minute drive from the falls. The temple is nestled amidst the Shevaroy Hills and offers a serene atmosphere for meditation and relaxation. Witness the evening prayers and enjoy the scenic sunset views from the temple.

  2. Day 2: Anna Park
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Kiliyur Falls

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to Anna Park, a beautiful garden known for its floral variety and a mini-zoo. Take a stroll through the park and admire the vibrant flowers and the playful animals.

    Afternoon: Experience some adrenaline-pumping activities at the Grange Tree Top Adventure. Located just a 10-minute drive from Anna Park, the adventure park offers activities like zip-lining, rope-walking and rappelling.

    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Lady's Seat, a 20-minute drive from the adventure park. The viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the valley and the Salem city, especially during the sunset.

If you want to experience more adventure, you can visit the Yercaud Rock Climbing and Rappelling Zone which is just 5 minutes away from Kiliyur Falls. Another great experience is to take a trek to the Montfort School which is located on the highest point of the Yercaud hills and offers spectacular views of the surroundings.
