Kodaikanal: A 2-Day Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: Coaker's Walk
    10 minutes (2.4 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Start your day with a refreshing walk along Coaker's Walk. This kilometre-long paved pedestrian path offers breathtaking panoramic views of the valley. Enjoy the cool mountain breeze and scenic beauty of the surrounding forests. This is a perfect spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. In the afternoon, head to Bryant Park, a botanical garden featuring a wide variety of plants and flowers, including a collection of hybrid roses. Relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, visit the Kodaikanal Lake, a man-made lake surrounded by lush greenery. Take a boat ride and enjoy the cool breeze while watching the sun set.

  2. Day 2: Dolphin's Nose
    1 hour (8.5 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

The drive to Dolphin's Nose is quite steep and winding, but the view is definitely worth the effort. Kodaikanal is a beautiful hill station with many other attractions worth exploring. You can plan a visit to the Pine Forest, Guna Cave, Silent Valley Viewpoint, and the Kurinji Andavar Temple.
