Vrindavan Volunteering Itinerary - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Prem Mandir
    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Mathura Junction Railway Station

    In the morning, you can head to Prem Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha. Spend some time volunteering at the temple by helping with cleaning, cooking, or serving food. In the afternoon, explore the beautiful gardens surrounding the temple and take in the breathtaking views. In the evening, attend the light and sound show that depicts the life of Lord Krishna.

  2. Day 2: ISKCON Vrindavan
    20 minutes (4.7 km) from Prem Mandir

    Start your day by volunteering at ISKCON Vrindavan, one of the largest Krishna temples in the world. Help with cooking, cleaning or assisting with the temple services. In the afternoon, take a stroll in the temple garden and enjoy the serene atmosphere. In the evening, attend the aarti ceremony and participate in chanting Hare Krishna mantra.

  3. Day 3: Radha Kund
    30 minutes (10.2 km) from ISKCON Vrindavan

    In the morning, head to Radha Kund, a sacred pond that is believed to be the bathing place of Radha and her gopi friends. Participate in the cleaning and beautification of the pond and its surroundings. In the afternoon, visit the Shri Radha Vallabh Temple and witness the aarti ceremony. In the evening, take a walk around the pond and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

  4. Day 4: Kusum Sarovar
    25 minutes (7.1 km) from Radha Kund

    On your final day, volunteer at Kusum Sarovar, a beautiful lake surrounded by temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha. Help with cleaning, gardening or assisting with the temple services. In the afternoon, take a dip in the lake and witness the aarti ceremony at the nearby Radha-Govinda Temple. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake.

If you have some extra time, consider visiting Banke Bihari Temple, the most famous temple in Vrindavan. You can also take a side trip to nearby Agra to see the magnificent Taj Mahal.
