If you have more time consider taking a detour to the lesser known Greek islands. If you are short of time, consider skipping Santorini and spending more time in Athens.

Another airport you can consider is Thessaloniki Airport (SKG), the second-largest and located to the north of Greece, almost 3-4 hours drive from Athens.
