Exploring the Big Apple: A 10-Day New York Adventure

  1. Day 1: Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
16 minutes (5 miles) from Times Square

Begin your journey by visiting the iconic Statue of Liberty, symbol of freedom and democracy. Hop on a ferry from Battery Park to reach Liberty Island. After exploring the statue and its museum, head to nearby Ellis Island to learn about the history of immigration in the United States.

After lunch, take a stroll through Battery Park and enjoy the waterfront views. You might also want to explore Castle Clinton, a historic fort in the park. As the sun sets, make your way to South Street Seaport for dinner and evening entertainment.

In the evening, walk along the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. You can either walk back or take a subway ride back to your starting point.

  2. Day 2: Central Park and The Met
15 minutes (3.3 miles) from Battery Park

Start your day exploring Central Park, a massive urban oasis with various attractions like the Central Park Zoo, Conservatory Garden, and the Great Lawn. Rent a bike or just walk your way through the park, stopping at points of interest such as Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge.

After lunch, visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, located on the eastern edge of Central Park. The Met houses a vast collection of art and artifacts from different eras and cultures, so plan to spend at least a few hours here. You can also enjoy a rooftop view of the park from the museum.

End your day with dinner and a Broadway show in the theater district. Choose from a wide range of shows, and don't forget to grab your tickets in advance!
