Other family-friendly attractions in Rome include the Capitoline Museums, which offers ancient artifacts and artwork. The Bioparco zoo is also a great option for families with kids. Side trips to nearby Ostia Antica, an ancient port city near Rome, or Tivoli, where you’ll find the beautiful Villa d'Este gardens and Hadrian’s Villa, could also be fun. To maximize your fun, consider a guided bike tour or hop-on-hop-off bus tour to see more of the city. Lastly, don't forget to try the famous Italian gelato!
