3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Coorg in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Brahmagiri Hill
    1 hour 25 minutes (41.2 km) from Mysore

    In the morning, head to Brahmagiri Hill, the highest peak in Coorg. Trek through the lush green forest and enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Afternoon is the perfect time for a picnic lunch at the top. In the evening, visit Iruppu Falls, which is just a short drive away. Take a dip in the cool water and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

  2. Day 2: Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 10 minutes (35.5 km) from Brahmagiri Hill

    Start your day with a visit to Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can interact with elephants, bathe them and learn about their lifestyle. Afterward, take a short drive to Nisargadhama, a beautiful island in the middle of the Kaveri River. You can enjoy boating, elephant rides and other activities there. In the evening, visit the Namdroling Monastery, the largest teaching center of Tibetan Buddhism in India.

  3. Day 3: Tadiandamol Peak
    2 hours 15 minutes (60.2 km) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    On your last day, head to Tadiandamol Peak, the second highest peak in Coorg. Enjoy the scenic drive to the starting point and then trek to the top. Once you reach the summit, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the afternoon, visit the Madikeri Fort, a historical site that showcases the rich culture and heritage of Coorg. In the evening, stroll around the local market and pick up some souvenirs to take home.
