To fully experience Paris, the best mode of transportation is on foot. However, for longer distances, the Paris Metro is an affordable and efficient option, with a single ticket costing €1.90. For those wanting to take in the city views while they travel, taking the bus or a cycling tour are all alternatives to the metro.
If you have more time, consider visiting Palais-Royal, Sainte-Chapelle, Opera Bastille and the Catacombs of Paris. If you have less time, consider cutting out Moulin Rouge, Disneyland Paris or Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck. Additionally, try to avoid visiting Paris in July and August, as it can be very crowded, and consider visiting in the shoulder season between late-May to early June or September to November when the crowds are smaller and the weather is still lovely.
