Recommendations

Coorg is a treasure trove of sights and experiences. Do consider visiting the Talacauvery and Bhagamandala temples, and the Madikeri Fort if time permits. You can also take a trip to the Nagarhole National Park for a wildlife safari. To maximize your fun, try the traditional Coorg cuisine such as pandi curry, bamboo shoot curry, and akki roti. Don't forget to try the locally grown coffee and purchase some spices and honey to take back home.

For side trips, you can visit the nearby Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary or the waterfalls at Jog. Another great idea is to book a homestay in the coffee plantations to experience the local culture up close.
