5-Day Kashmir Nature Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Srinagar
    30 minutes (12 km) from Srinagar International Airport

    Start your day with a Shikara ride on Dal Lake to see the Floating Gardens and Char Chinar Island. Later in the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chashme Shahi. In the evening, take a stroll at the Boulevard Road and enjoy the scenic view of the lake.

  2. Day 2: Pahalgam
    2 hours and 30 minutes (90 km) from Srinagar

    Drive to Pahalgam and visit the scenic Betaab Valley and Aru Valley for some breathtaking views of nature. In the afternoon, go for a short trek to the Baisaran meadow or take a pony ride to explore the valley. Spend the evening at your leisure.

  3. Day 3: Gulmarg
    3 hours (55 km) from Pahalgam

    Leave for Gulmarg in the morning and visit the stunning Strawberry Valley on the way. Upon arrival, take the Gondola ride to the Apharwat peak for a panoramic view of the snow-capped Himalayas. In the afternoon, try skiing or snowboarding at one of the world-famous skiing resorts. Spend the evening at leisure.

  4. Day 4: Sonamarg

  5. Day 5: Yusmarg
    2 hours and 30 minutes (50 km) from Sonamarg

    Take a day trip to Yusmarg and enjoy the scenic drive through the pine forests. Go for a horse ride or a short trek to the Nilnag Lake. In the afternoon, visit the Charar-i-Sharief Shrine and learn about the local Sufi culture. Spend the evening at leisure.
