2-Day Relaxation Itinerary for Pune in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Osho Ashram
    15 minutes (4.5 km) from Pune Railway Station

    Morning: Start your day with a relaxing meditation session at Osho Ashram. This spiritual center is an oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Pune. Afternoon: Head to the Osho Teerth Park, which is a beautiful green space adjacent to the Ashram. Take a walk around the park or have a picnic lunch. Evening: End your day with a visit to the nearby ABC Farms to enjoy a delicious dinner.

  2. Day 2: Mulshi Dam
    1 hour 30 minutes (45 km) from Osho Ashram

    Morning: Start early and take a scenic drive to Mulshi Dam. Enjoy the beautiful views of the dam and the surrounding mountains. Afterwards, visit the nearby Tamhini Waterfall to take a refreshing dip. Afternoon: Have lunch at the Mulshi Dam Resort and relax by the pool with a good book. Evening: Head back to Pune and have dinner at Shabree Restaurant to enjoy some traditional Maharashtrian cuisine.

If you have time, you could also visit the Aga Khan Palace, which is a historic monument and museum. For nature lovers, the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park and the Katraj Snake Park are definitely worth a visit. If you want to take a side trip, you could visit the hill station of Lonavala, which is about 1 hour 30 minutes away from Pune. In order to maximize your fun, you could also try some adventure sports like trekking or paragliding in the nearby Sahyadri mountains. Finally, make sure to try some of the local street food like vada pav, misal pav and bhel puri.
