Kodaikanal in June 2023 - A 2-day itinerary

  1. Day 1: Kodaikanal Lake
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Start your day by visiting the Kodaikanal Lake, which is a major tourist attraction. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and rent a boat to paddle around the lake. For lunch, there are several local restaurants around the lake that serve delicious South Indian cuisine. After lunch, head to the Bryant Park, which is a well-maintained botanical garden that boasts a variety of flora. End your day by visiting the Coaker's Walk, which offers panoramic views of the valley. The walk is perfect for a sunset stroll.

  2. Day 2: Pillar Rocks
    30 minutes (8.5 km) from Kodaikanal Lake

    Begin your second day by visiting the Pillar Rocks, which are a set of three giant rock pillars. These rocks offer amazing views of the valley and are a popular spot for photography. Next, head to the Guna Caves, which are natural caves that are believed to have been formed between two large boulders. For lunch, visit the nearby Green Valley View, also known as Suicide Point for its steep drop. End your day by visiting the Bear Shola Falls and enjoy a refreshing dip in the fall.
