Kolkata Honeymoon Itinerary - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Victoria Memorial
    20 minutes (6.1 km) from Kolkata Airport

    Victoria Memorial is an iconic marble building dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria. The museum has a vast range of British Raj memorabilia and galleries which offer an insight into Kolkata's history. In the morning, take an informative audio-guided tour of the galleries, explore the sprawling gardens, and enjoy a picnic on the lush lawns. In the afternoon, visit the nearby St. Paul's Cathedral, a neo-gothic Anglican cathedral, and indulge in a romantic walk. In the evening, visit Princep Ghat and take a boat ride on the Hoogly river.

  2. Day 2: Dakshineswar Kali Temple
    1 hour (16.2 km) from Victoria Memorial

    Dakshineswar Kali Temple is a beautiful Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. In the morning, take a guided tour of the temple and witness the morning aarti. Afterward, visit the nearby Adyapith Temple, a serene temple dedicated to the divine mother, and bask in its tranquil environment. In the afternoon, visit the Indian Museum, the largest and oldest museum in India, with a vast collection of rare artifacts and exhibits. In the evening, experience the famous Kolkata street food at Park Street, also known as "The Street that Never Sleeps".
