3-Day Nature Tour in Wayanad in February 2024

  1. Day 1: Banasura Sagar Dam
    1 hour 12 minutes (21.4 miles) from Kalpetta

    In the morning, head to Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earth dam in India. Marvel at the scenic beauty of the dam and enjoy a speed boat ride. In the afternoon, head to Pookode Lake, a freshwater lake surrounded by lush greenery. Take a boat ride in the serene lake. In the evening, visit the ancient Edakkal Caves, known for their prehistoric rock carvings.

  2. Day 2: Chembra Peak
    1 hour 6 minutes (22.6 miles) from Kalpetta

    Start your day with a trek to the top of Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the valley from the top. In the afternoon, visit the Soochipara Waterfalls, a three-tiered waterfall amidst dense forests. Take a dip in the refreshing water.
