4-Day Nature Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    30 minutes (8.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, take a boat ride through the mangrove forest of Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and observe various bird species. In the afternoon, visit the Reis Magos Fort for a panoramic view of the Mandovi River. End your day with a stroll at Miramar Beach and witness the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Mollem National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (43 miles) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    Spend your morning exploring the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, then head to Mollem National Park to go on a trek to the Tambdi Surla Waterfall. In the evening, visit the Mahadev Temple, a 12th-century Shiva temple nestled in the Western Ghats.

  3. Day 3: Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary

    Begin your day with a visit to Cabo de Rama Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese fort overlooking the Arabian Sea. Then head to Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, home to various flora and fauna species. Spend your evening at Palolem Beach, where you can relax and watch the sunset.

  4. Day 4: Chorla Ghat
    1 hour 50 minutes (41 miles) from Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary

    In the morning, take a drive to Chorla Ghat, a picturesque mountain range with stunning views of the Western Ghats. Go on a trek to the Vazra Sakla Waterfall and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region. In the evening, visit the Anjuna Flea Market for some souvenir shopping.
