In the afternoon, visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, which has several temples, palaces, and courtyards. On your last day, visit the Patan Durbar Square, which is another UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient royal palace showcases the traditional Nepalese architecture and has several temples and shrines. If you have an extra day, you can consider taking a day trip to Bhaktapur, which is another ancient town with a rich cultural heritage. You can also go on a hike to the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, which is a popular spot for trekking. Make sure to try the local momos and Newari cuisine. Be careful when travelling during the monsoon season (June to August) as the roads can become slippery and dangerous.
