After the lake, head to the famous Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills. The peak provides a breathtaking view of the entire town.

    Evening: End the day with a visit to the Rose Garden, which has over 20,000 varieties of roses. The garden is spread over 10 acres and is a feast for your eyes with its vibrant colours and sweet fragrance.

After the church, make your way to the Wax World Museum, which has a collection of wax statues of famous personalities from India and around the world.

    Evening: End your trip with a visit to the Thunder World amusement park, which has a variety of thrill rides and games.

If you have an extra day, take a trip to the picturesque town of Coonoor, which is just 20 km away from Ooty. The town is known for its tea plantations and has some of the best tea estates in the country. You can also take a ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most scenic railway journeys in India.
