Relaxing 3-Day Itinerary in Dwaraka in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Bet Dwarka and Rukmini Temple
    40 minutes (29 km) from Dwarakadheesh Temple

    In the morning, visit the serene Bet Dwarka island via a short boat ride from Okha. Explore the ancient Rukmini Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna's consort. Enjoy a traditional Gujarati thali lunch in the nearby local restaurants. In the afternoon, visit the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, which houses one of the 12 revered Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Spend the evening at Gomti Ghat and witness the Aarti ceremony.

  2. Day 2: Gopi Talav and Sudama Setu
    15 minutes (4.3 km) from Dwarakadheesh Temple

    Start your day by visiting Gopi Talav, a sacred pond associated with Lord Krishna's playful pastimes. Enjoy a serene boat ride and feed the fish in the pond. Have a light breakfast at the nearby stalls. Next, visit Sudama Setu, a beautiful bridge named after Lord Krishna's childhood friend Sudama. The bridge spans across the Gomti river and connects the Dwarakadheesh Temple with the Dwarka beach. Spend the evening relaxing on the beach, watching the sunset and trying some street food.

  3. Day 3: Beyt Dwarka Beach and Dwarka Lighthouse
    1 hour 15 minutes (31 km) from Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple

    Start your day by visiting the Beyt Dwarka Beach, a serene and less crowded beach with crystal clear waters and white sand. Have breakfast on the beach and enjoy some water sports activities like jet ski and banana boat ride. After lunch, head to the Dwarka lighthouse, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the Arabian sea and the Dwarka city. End your day by visiting the Dwarkadheesh Temple and attending the evening Aarti ceremony.
