3-Day Adventure Itinerary in Wayanad for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Chembra Peak
    30 minutes (11.2 km) from Kalpetta

    In the morning, trek up to the top of Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. Experience the thrill of crossing the heart-shaped lake and reach the summit to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding hills.   2. Day 2: Banasura Sagar Dam

In the afternoon, visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a variety of animals including tigers, elephants, and leopards. In the evening, witness the spectacular sunset at the Soochipara Waterfalls, where the water cascades down from a height of 200 meters.

  3. Day 3: Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 45 minutes (50.8 km) from Banasura Sagar Dam

    In the morning, take a jungle safari at the Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Spot the majestic Indian bison, elephants, deer and other animals while traversing through the dense forest. In the afternoon, visit the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, another popular destination for nature lovers. In the evening, head over to the Kuruva Island, a serene picnic spot consisting of several small islands located in the middle of the Kabini River.
