Nature Lover's Paradise in Pune

  1. Day 1: Sinhagad Fort

  2. Day 2: Mulshi Dam
    1 hour 45 minutes (45 miles) from Sinhagad Fort

    Drive to Mulshi Dam, situated amidst the Sahyadri mountain range, in the morning. The dam offers a perfect view of the blue waters of Mulshi Lake, surrounded by the lush green forests of the Western Ghats. You can hire a boat to take a ride in the lake, or indulge in some adventure activities like rappelling, zip-lining, and kayaking. Spend the afternoon exploring the nearby countryside and experiencing the local culture and cuisine. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful sunset at the dam, and head back to Pune for dinner.

If you have an extra day, consider visiting the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, home to a variety of flora and fauna, or the Pashan Lake, an artificial lake surrounded by hills and greenery. For a side trip, visit Lavasa, a beautiful hill station known for its Italian-style architecture and scenic views.
