Recommendations

If you have time, consider taking a day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairy-tale castle that inspired Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty castle. You can also visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, which is located just outside of Munich. For a fun way to explore the city, consider taking a guided bike tour. You can maximize your fun by trying out different types of Bavarian beer, visiting other beer halls such as the Paulaner am Nockherberg, and indulging in traditional Bavarian cuisine such as schnitzel or pretzels. Don't forget to try the local delicacy, the Weisswurst, a white sausage that is typically served for breakfast.
