  1. Day 1: Edakkal Caves

After the trek, relax your muscles at the nearby Pookode Lake, which is surrounded by dense forests. Take a paddleboat ride or go for a swim in the lake. End the day with a visit to the Banasura Sagar Dam, which is India's largest earthen dam. The dam offers scenic views of the surrounding hills and the reservoir.
