2-Day Adventure Itinerary in Varkala, July 2023

  1. Day 1: Surfing and Beach Day

    Evening: Spend the evening watching the sunset at Varkala Beach. Take a dip in the cool waters or just relax and enjoy the view.

  2. Day 2: Trekking and Waterfall
    1 hour 20 minutes (42.5 km) from Varkala Beach

    Morning: Head to the Agasthyarkoodam peak for a challenging trekking experience amidst the lush greenery of the Western Ghats. The trek takes around 6 hours and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and hills.

    Afternoon: After the trek, cool off by taking a dip in the pristine waters of the Kumbhavurutty Waterfalls. The falls are a short hike away from the parking area and offer a refreshing break from the heat.

    Evening: Drive back to Varkala and spend the evening at the Edava Beach. With its calm waters and serene surroundings, it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of trekking.
