5-Day North Goa Itinerary - October 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Old Goa
    17 minutes (7.9 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and Church of St. Francis of Assisi, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Taste the local cuisine at the nearby eateries for lunch and head to Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Goa, in the afternoon. Walk around the colourful, narrow streets, and admire the beautiful Portuguese-style architecture. In the evening, dine at Viva Panjim, serving authentic Goan cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Relax and Unwind at Baga Beach
    30 minutes (15.2 km) from Old Goa

    In the morning, head to Baga Beach, a popular tourist spot. Enjoy a leisurely walk on the beach, soak up the sun, or indulge in water sports activities. Satisfy your hunger with lunch at Britto's, famous for its seafood. In the afternoon, visit the Saturday Night Market, offering a variety of stalls selling clothes, accessories, and souvenirs. End the day with a romantic dinner at Thirsty Bear, known for its live music and cocktails.

  3. Day 3: Discover the Rich History of Fort Aguada

    In the morning, visit Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort. Explore the lighthouse and the old prison cells, and enjoy the panoramic view of the Arabian Sea.   5. Day 5: Visit the Churches and Beaches of South Goa
    1 hour 20 minutes (53.7 km) from Arambol Beach

    In the morning, head to South Goa and visit the beautiful beaches like Colva or Benaulim. Then, visit the famous churches like Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church and Rachol Seminary. For lunch, try the traditional Goan fish curry and rice at Martin's Corner. In the afternoon, visit Palolem Beach for its scenic beauty and boat trips. End the day with a dinner at Jamies, known for its seafood and live music.
