3-Day Adventure Itinerary in Sikkim in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Trek to Goechala
    5 hours (68.7 km) from Pakyong Airport

    In the morning, start your trek to Goechala. The trek starts from Yuksom and is approximately 51km long. The trail passes through forests, waterfalls, and suspension bridges. You will reach Sachen by lunchtime where you can have a packed lunch. Then, proceed towards Tshoka for an overnight stay. Spend the evening exploring the village and indulge in some local food.

  2. Day 2: River Rafting in Teesta River
    3 hours (54.4 km) from Tshoka

    In the morning, head towards the Teesta river for a thrilling river rafting experience. The rapids are grade II to III, which makes it a perfect adventure for beginners as well as experienced rafters. After lunch, proceed towards the Ravangla Buddha Park. The park offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and houses a 130-foot statue of Buddha. Spend the evening at leisure in Ravangla.

  3. Day 3: Paragliding in Gangtok
    3 hours (72.5 km) from Ravangla

    Start your day with a thrilling paragliding experience in Gangtok. The stunning views of the Himalayas will make your experience even more memorable. After lunch, visit the Rumtek Monastery, which is the largest monastery in Sikkim. The monastery houses rare Buddhist artifacts and offers great views of the surrounding hills. Spend the evening exploring the MG Marg market, which is a popular shopping destination in Gangtok.
