Exploring Coorg in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Talacauvery and Bhagamandala
    1 hour 15 minutes (28.6 km) from Coorg

    Start your day early and head to Talacauvery, known as the birthplace of the river Cauvery. Take a dip in the sacred waters and seek blessings at the temple. After that, drive to Bhagamandala, a beautiful confluence of Cauvery, Kannike, and the subterranean Sujyoti river. Visit the Bhagandeshwara temple and enjoy a serene boat ride in the Triveni Sangama. You can also shop for souvenirs and homemade chocolates at the local stalls.

  2. Day 2: Abbey Falls and Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 30 minutes (35.2 km) from Talacauvery

    Start your day with a visit to Abbey Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls in Coorg. Listen to the sound of gushing water and soak in the natural beauty. After that, head to Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can interact with elephants and even take an elephant ride. Learn about their lifestyle, feed them, and even bathe them. End your day with a cup of authentic Coorg coffee at any of the local cafes.
