Family-Friendly 5-Day Itinerary for Vrindavan Mathura in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Banke Bihari Temple

    Start your day at Prem Mandir, which is known for its beautiful architecture and light shows. Afternoon visit Nidhivan, Seva Kunj, and Radha Raman Temple. In the evening, attend the sound and light show at Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir.

  3. Day 3: Dwarkadheesh Temple
    15 minutes (4 km) from Prem Mandir

    Today, visit the iconic Dwarkadheesh Temple, followed by a visit to Kusum Sarovar, one of the largest lakes in Vrindavan. In the evening, relax and catch a Bollywood movie at the historic Raj Mandir Cinema.

  4. Day 4: Govardhan Hill
    1 hour 10 minutes (22 km) from Dwarkadheesh Temple

    In the morning, visit the Govardhan Hill, which is believed to be a sacred site for Hindus. Afternoon visit Radha Kund and Shyam Kund, which are located near Govardhan Hill. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh.

  5. Day 5: Agra
    1 hour 40 minutes (60 km) from Govardhan Hill

    On your last day, take a side trip to Agra to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Afternoon visit the Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh. In the evening, catch a train from Agra Cantt Railway Station back to Mathura Junction Railway Station.
