Other notable attractions in Amritsar include the Central Sikh Museum, the Summer Palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and the Pul Kanjari. A side trip to the nearby city of Tarn Taran Sahib, famous for its gurudwara, can also be considered. To maximize your fun, try the local street food such as Amritsari kulcha, lassi, and chole bhature. Don't forget to take a heritage walk through the old city to learn about the history and culture of Amritsar. Lastly, keep in mind that it can get hot and humid in June, so carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for protection.
