Kodaikanal Nature Itinerary: 2-Day Trip in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Coaker's Walk
    10 minutes (1.3 miles) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Early in the morning, take a 1 km walk on Coaker's Walk. A perfect trail for nature enthusiasts, the walk gives panoramic views of the hills, valleys and forests. Later, head to Bryant Park, a botanical garden with a large variety of flowers and trees. Relax by the lake, go boating and take a stroll in the park. In the evening, visit the Kodaikanal Lake, a man-made lake where you can rent a bicycle or a horse and ride around the lake. Have a picnic by the lake and watch the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Pine Forest and Guna Caves
    20 minutes (5.3 miles) from Kodaikanal Lake

    Start your day with a visit to the Pine Forest, a serene and peaceful place. Take a walk in the forest, and breathe in the fresh air. Then, head to Guna Caves, a mysterious cave which has hidden passages and deep ravines. The caves are surrounded by lush green forests and valleys. In the afternoon, visit the Dolphin's Nose, a viewpoint that gives stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Witness the beauty of the mountains and the clouds. In the evening, visit the Bear Shola Falls, a small yet beautiful waterfall. You can take a dip in the cold water and enjoy the scenic beauty.
