Relaxing 4-Day Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    17 minutes (6.2 km) from Thivim Railway Station

    Start your day with a relaxing coastal walk as the sun rises over the Arabian sea. After breakfast, rent a beach chair and umbrella and just lay back and soak up the sun. The calm waters of Baga beach are perfect for swimming, banana boat rides and jet-skiing. In the evening, enjoy some fresh seafood at one of the beach shacks while watching the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    15 minutes (6.5 km) from Baga Beach

    Start your day with a visit to the 17th-century Fort Aguada and enjoy the panoramic views of the Arabian sea. After that, head to Sinquerim beach for some relaxed sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear waters. You can also try your hand at parasailing and other water sports. In the evening, explore the local markets for some souvenirs and try some authentic Goan cuisine at one of the restaurants.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market and Vagator Beach
    20 minutes (8.8 km) from Sinquerim Beach

    Start your day early and head to the famous Anjuna Flea Market for some shopping and exploring. Here you can find everything from jewellery, handicrafts, clothes to spices and local delicacies. After that, head to Vagator beach, a secluded beach known for its natural beauty and tranquillity. Enjoy the turquoise waters and the white sand beach. In the evening, explore the nearby chapels and temples and witness the night sky.

  4. Day 4: Morjim Beach and Chapora Fort
    25 minutes (12.5 km) from Vagator Beach

    Start your day by visiting the picturesque Morjim beach, known for its pristine sands and a secluded atmosphere. This is also the nesting ground for the Olive Ridley Turtles. After that, head to the 16th-century Chapora Fort, famous for its stunning views of the sea and the Vagator beach. In the evening, enjoy some live music at one of the beach shacks and indulge in some Goan nightlife.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, do consider visiting the Dudhsagar waterfalls and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. Also, take a day trip to the nearby Terekhol fort and explore the local culture.
