Exploring Wayanad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Edakkal Caves

    Explore the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary in the morning, which is home to several species of flora and fauna, including elephants, tigers, and deer. Take a jeep safari to explore the sanctuary and spot some wildlife. After lunch, visit the Kuruvadweep island, a cluster of small islands located in the middle of the Kabini river. The island is known for its rare species of birds and butterflies. In the evening, head back to Kalpetta and explore the local markets for some souvenirs.
