The journey starts with a visit to one of the most picturesque locations in Patnitop, Nathatop. At an elevation of 2711 meters, Nathatop offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, and one can indulge in paragliding or skiing here.
The next stop takes you to the serene and tranquil Sanasar lake. Surrounded by lush green forests, the lake is perfect for a relaxing boat ride, and one can also enjoy adventure activities like paragliding, and trekking here.
For lunch, head back to Patnitop, to indulge in some delicious pastries and cakes at the Patisserie. The cozy ambiance of this cafe coupled with its mouth-watering confectionaries make it the perfect spot for a romantic lunch date.
Round off the day with a drive through one of the engineering marvels of India - The Chenani-Nashri tunnel, and marvel at the scenic beauty of the region while crossing over to Jammu. The tunnel is the longest bi-directional tunnel in Asia, and an architectural marvel, stretching over 9 km through the hills of Jammu.
The tour will be in a private car with a personal driver. The cost for this is INR 2000 for the day. The travel time between each location is also accounted for in the schedule above.
If you have more time, you can explore some other scenic locations in the region like Madhatop, Kud, or Mantalai. If you have less time, we would suggest skipping the Patisserie and instead enjoying a local Dhaba, which offers some delectable and authentic local cuisine.
The nearest airport to Patnitop is Jammu Airport (IXJ), which is approximately 112 km away from Patnitop. The airport is well connected to all major cities in India, and taxis can be hired to reach Patnitop from the airport.
