3-Day Itinerary for South Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
    1 hour 16 minutes (33.2 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, stroll along the white sand and crystal clear waters of Palolem Beach, renowned for its natural beauty. Be sure to stop at the Neptune Point Beach Shack for a delicious breakfast, accompanied by a refreshing glass of Goan Feni. Afternoon activities include a gentle swim, sunbathing or renting a kayak to explore the surrounding waters. Don't miss out on the opportunity to witness the magical sunset from the Butterfly Island viewpoint, followed by a candlelit dinner at the romantic Dropadi Restaurant.

  2. Day 2: Old Goa and Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 10 minutes (28.5 miles) from Palolem Beach

    Start the day by exploring the rich history and architecture of Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. After a traditional Goan lunch, take a scenic drive to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool waters at the base of the falls before heading back to Palolem Beach for a relaxed evening.

  3. Day 3: Cola Beach and Agonda Beach
    27 minutes (9.5 miles) from Palolem Beach

    Explore the unspoiled beauty of Cola Beach, a hidden gem tucked away behind a palm tree forest. Take a dip in the lagoon and soak up the peaceful surroundings. In the afternoon, head to Agonda Beach for a calming yoga session or a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage. As the sun begins to set, indulge in a seafood feast at the popular beachside restaurant, Fatima's Corner.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, we recommend visiting the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, a protected area home to a variety of flora and fauna. You can also take a side trip to the nearby beaches of Patnem and Galgibaga. To maximize your fun, try out some adventurous water sports like parasailing, jet-skiing or banana boat rides. Finally, don't forget to immerse yourself in the local culture by attending a traditional Goan music and dance performance, and sampling some of the region's famous cuisine.
